My pedagogic interests include:
- The impact of informal STEM provision of building science capital
- Student skills development through peer learning and STEM public engagement.
- Developing novel approaches to teach UG and PG Pharmacology.
Projects:
- LJMU Curriculum Enhancement Internship 2022 (Co-I) Dr Darren Sexton,
Dr Laura Randle and Dr Giles Watts. ‘Podcasting for enhanced Science Communication, Public engagement and Employability; a feasibility pilot study.’, funding for 2 x MSc. student interns to prepare podcasts relating to international student experience, women in science, student mental health (120h). - I introduced wiki pages for group case studies which was further supported by a group work tutorial and Myers-Briggs assessment.
- Erasmus+ exchange visit with University of Navarra, Spain to facilitate student exchanges (2012).
